In 2004, the U.S. Department of Labor updated its wage and hour regulations. Some of the changes impacted radio and television stations.
The OAB’s FCC counsel of Brooks, Pierce, McLendon, Humphrey & Leonard, in cooperation with our Ohio counsel of Vorys, Sater, Seymour, and Pease, produced the Broadcasters’ Guide to U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage & Hour Rules. The guide summarizes federal wage and hour issues under the Fair Labor Standards Act as implemented and interpreted through U.S. Department of Labor regulations and court decisions. This guide is provided as a free service to OAB members.
