Broadcasting Scholarships


The OAB, through its Ohio Broadcasters Foundation, offers scholarship programs each year. The OAB Kids Scholarship is for children of full-time employees of an OAB member station. The Ohio Broadcasters Scholarship is for students already enrolled at a four-year college or university in Ohio. Lastly, the OAB Executive Development Scholarship is for OAB station employees working full-time in a managerial role. Ohio Broadcasters Scholarship
To apply for the Ohio Broadcasters Scholarship, students must be enrolled at a four-year college or university in Ohio. Applicants must have as their major or minor a program of instruction that emphasizes radio or television broadcasting or communications.
OAB Kids Scholarship
To apply for the OAB Kids Scholarship, students must be high school seniors who plans to enroll in any post secondary institution after they graduate. The institution may be public or private, and located in Ohio or out-of-state, and area of study is not a determining factor for the scholarship.
OAB Executive Development Fellowship
To apply for the OAB's Executive Development Fellowship, OAB station employees must be employed full-time in a managerial role and be interested in advancing to future leadership roles.
