It's time to register for this year's Ohio Associated Press Broadcasters Awards Luncheon in Columbus. The banquet is Sunday, June 1, at The Hilton Columbus at Easton Town Center.
Registration and a reception will begin at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon.
Our keynote speaker this year will be AP Broadcast music correspondent and Toledo native Margie Szaroleta, who promises to share some backstage stories from the world of rock.
We will announce the winners of the Ohio Associated Press Broadcasters Contest for calendar year 2007, as well as the recipient of the Carl Day Outstanding Achievement Award and this year's OAPB Hall of Fame class: Glenn Wilson, Casey Coleman, Allan Land and Jym Ganahl.
Representatives from the Radio and Television News Directors Association will be recognizing winners of the regional Edward R. Murrow Awards.
Lunch is $40 per person for OAB members and AP subscribers. The registration deadline is May 20.
